Should we do different folders for different teams?

if so, let's make this the Arsenal folder...

Good thread, I was wondering if Arsenal are going to do anything major in Signing?

So does this mean they're keeping Senderos? I know they were sort of holding on to him, just in case Kolo did leave.

looks like we will be selling Toure also.

i am not thrilled by these sales until we make a solid acquisition with these proceeds. we still need a true CDM and it would be nice to buy another CB that has more promise like a Cristian Zapata from Udinese...

With the cash we have now, i think this is a good possibility..

Cristian Zapata, is definitely an option. I think he'll go, specially since Uni is buying all these South Americans.

Well they certainly do need a good CB, IMHO Kolo is one of the better CB's in he whole league just below Terry and Vidic IMO(Ferdinand is overrated). With that addition City are sure to be even more of a threat now.

Changed the thread name from "Arsenal Folder" because I feel its better that things are kept "Official" around here. Wink

With £25m from the Ade transfer & £15 from the Kolo transfer, both to City, they certainly have some funds to address a few holes, in a the modest way Wenger likes to.

Question is, will Wenger, in his stubborn ways, do so?

Official Arsenal FC Thread Empty jack wilshere

Post by Furnaccio Mon Aug 03, 2009 1:52 am

anyone see Jack Wilshere play the past 2 games for the Gunners this past weekend? the kid is only 17 and he plays like he's 23.

i've been tracking wilshere since last season when he made the first team and i have a feeling he will be on the England squad for the 2010 WC and by 2014 he will be one the world's best players.

unlike theo walcott - this guy can take a hit and he doesn't get rattled as easily.

he has great dribbling skills, above average pace and excellent vision and composure with the ball and he's a deadly shot, not bad for a player who has to rely on his mom to take him to the stadium and training grounds...

nice win by arsenal at Celtic today - 2-0

we have scored 3 goals from headers within the 6' in 2 games. this is great b/c this was a huge weak area for us last year. this now adds another dimension to our attack.

hopefully we keep the momentum going into the weekend!

agreed - we may have Fab4 missing in action today, but either Ramsey or Diaby will fill in the void just fine. if not then we can always call upon young Jack Wilshire off the bench.

i'm not too worried about today's game as I am about Fab4's hamstring injury. i hope he can be at 100% for Saturday otherwise i think he should not play this weekend. it's too early in the season to lose Fab4 or a player of his caliber, when he can rest up over the next 2 weeks and be at 100% against Man City...
